Text the YoungMinds Crisis Messenger for free 24/7 support across the UK if you are experiencing a mental health crisis.
• If you need urgent help, text YM to 85258. • All texts are answered by trained volunteers, with support from experienced clinical supervisors.
• Texts are free from EE, O2, Vodafone, 3, Virgin Mobile, BT Mobile, GiffGaff, Tesco Mobile and Telecom Plus.
There are many more support services you can access if you have concerns about your child. Below are a list of just a few of these;
CAMHS: Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service. This is accessed via the NHS but in most cases you will need a referral from your GP to access them. More information can be found here.
There are also numerous charities that offer information about mental health and offer support for those who may need it.
