Report a Concern

At St Michael's, we are committed to ensuring that every pupil feels safe, respected and valued. If you, or someone you know, is experiencing bullying, abuse, harassment or any behaviour that makes them feel unsafe, whether verbal, physical, online or sexual, please tell us.

No one should suffer in silence. Speaking up can help us provide support, prevent further harm and ensure that everyone feels safe within our school community.

If you do not feel comfortable reporting a concern yourself, you may wish to ask a friend, parent, carer or trusted adult to do so on your behalf.

You can also use our SHARP System, a confidential way to report concerns for yourself or for another pupil. Whether you are worried about bullying, discrimination, harassment, inappropriate behaviour or the wellbeing of a friend, SHARP enables you to let us know safely and discreetly.

Every concern raised will be taken seriously and handled sensitively, respectfully and appropriately. We will listen, investigate where necessary and work to ensure the right support is put in place.

At St Michael's, we do not dismiss harmful behaviour as "banter", "just having a laugh" or "part of growing up". Bullying, harassment and abuse of any kind are not tolerated.

If something does not feel right, tell someone. Help us to help you and others.
