St Michael’s – Growing in Body, Mind and Spirit
At St Michael’s, Prayer is an integral part of our life in school, and something in which we can all choose to participate. In tutorials, pupils are invited to begin each day with prayer and reflection in tutor groups, assembly or year-group worship, and close the day by saying the Grace together too. The staff are also invited to begin their days with prayer, we pray as part of events, meetings and activities, and many are praying throughout the day.
Prayer is powerful, and so, we’re keen to be praying not just for the things that are concerning our Pupils, Staff and Governors, but also Parents and the wider community of the Chorley area.
Please email your prayer requests to and we will ensure that the school community is praying. These can be anonymous, and you don’t need to give any specifics if you’d prefer. Whether it’s thanking God for something or a burden we can help to bear, please let us know so we can pray.
