"I was very impressed by the actions of three of your young ladies who twice offered their seats to older people whilst travelling from Chorley Park Road bus stop to the Bay Horse at Whittle-le Woods last Friday. When I commented to a fellow traveller that it was so nice to see such good manners I was informed that this "often happens when youngsters from St. Michael's are on the bus". Congratulations to the three girls concerned and to the school for setting such a high standard of behaviour."
"Just a few belated words of thanks for allowing Mr White and Mrs Burgess to come to share their talents with the children and staff of our school. It is always a pleasure to welcome them and we appreciate the time, energy and enthusiasm they put into the lessons that we enjoy. My own class of upper juniors benefitted from two Tudor dance workshops form Liz who choreographed a special court dance which the children proudly showed off at the end of month parent's assembly. Phil took the lower juniors in his usual high octane drumming session which they loved. We always look forward to this type of liaison and hope we can welcome you again next year.
Please pass on our thanks to both of them and Mrs Cunningham for allowing them to come."
“I am writing to thank you for welcoming us into school recently to interview those in Year 11 who have applied for a place at Runshaw College in September 2013. In total we saw over 220 pupils and I hope they all found the interviews informative and reassuring.
We were very impressed by the mature attitude and politeness of all the pupils we met. Many had clear career plans and all of them had prepared well for the interview bringing their Progress File with them to support their application. We enjoyed meeting them all and we look forward to welcoming them to College in September.
It is always a pleasure to come into St Michael’s, please pass on my thanks to Miss Amanda Brown for her much valued help in making the arrangements for the day, ensuring the whole process went smoothly”
