LOOKING FORWARD
A new Arts Centre and Training Suite is due to begin construction shortly and should be ready for use in September 2007. The Training Suite is set to have access to video conferencing facilities available to hire for business and educational purposes.
FOUNDATIONS
St Michael's was founded by local residents in the Chorley area over 40 years ago. The founder members wanted a Church school for local children and set about raising the funds to build a purpose built school in the heart of Chorley. Forty years later St Michael's prides itself on the Christian ethos that underpins everything we do.
The school moto is taken from the Bible in Deuteronomy. This encapsulates our aim as a school; to prepare and equip each of our pupils so that they are able to make informed choices in every area of their lives. We believe that successful education addresses the whole of what it means to be a happy, fulfilled and successful adult.
